Vamps and Tramps -True Blood Challenge

Here is my piece for the True Blood Challenge

The challenge was Merlottes or Fangtasia. To be honest I think I would spend more time at Merlottes than Fangtasia, I think Sam is an absolute hunny and I like the Old Tavern style but Fangtasia is much more exciting and I do love Eric so here it is - a VIP pass to a Fangtasia night! All blood types welcome!! I've inked white lace in black and red and added some glitter and sparkle!

Forest Fairy

Some more Sweet Pea this time in olive and red. Two colours I rarely use because I prefer blue and purples but I had a go with these and added some gold glitter pen which was fun to see a different colour set!

Detours

Another Sweet Pea image, I added the detours sentiment because she looks like a lost angel or fairy in the forest and I thought it added something...

Midnight Waiting

Here is one variation of the Sweet Pea stamp. I coloured and shaded it all in pencil and then added black pen to the beads and silver glitter pen to the wings and dress.

Gorjuss girl

I ordered some decoupage kits from the Gorjuss range and just had to use this one right away! I love the girl and rabbit. I added the silver rope, brads and silver wire heart decoration!

Sookie Stackhouse take 2

Okay, this is my second challenge card for http://atruebloodchallenge.blogspot.com/

I don't like the picture for my pink Sookie, I scanned it because when I used my camera the shine was too bad, this is my other card and the one I think I'll enter in the challenge if I can. I used the outline stickers waiting a lifetime for love because I thought the sentiment was apt for both Sookie and Bill. I inked up some white lace to give it a darker feel and have added blue gemstones. I chalked around the picture in silver chalk for a more eerie feel as the picture is in black and white!

Sookie Stackhouse - waiting for this moment

This is my entry for the new true blood challenge at http://atruebloodchallenge.blogspot.com/

The challenge is to convey Sookie's excitement with vampires. Sookie can't hear the vampire's thoughts and finds this very calming and peaceful. When she meets Bill the Vampire for the first time she can't hide her excitement! I used pink for Sookie's card as everything else about True Blood can be quite dark, I think Sookie brings a bit of sunshine and humour to it all. I added an embellishment with "Love" wrote on it because when she met Bill it was like love at first sight becuase she has been completely infatuated since that night! Also the sentiment thoughts of you...

Most Memorable Moment Season 1

Here is my challenge card for A true blood challenge

My most memorable moment is when Sookie meets Bill for the first time and it all begins to get really dark and exciting! I love Eric but this moment is definitely my fave! I added charms to spell out darkness.

Team Eric - True Blood Challenge

Here is my card for the True Blood Challenge, I am team Eric and I thought the sentiment suited him. I added footprints, handprints and paw prints and chalked along the outside of the card.

Monday Macabre - Hello Dolly!

Hope this card fits the bill! The challenge is to use creepy toys and technically my freaky kid is holding a bear with nails in it and fangs so it kinda works. The kid was from Jolly Nation and was a pretty normal looking kid with pale blue pyjamas, blonde hair and a nice toy...until I got through with him!...

Star Pupil

It's Monday again and I have a new entry for the Haunted Design House Challenge! The challenge this week is Teen Angst. I have two projects for this one but this is my first! She is my hand drawing of Spykee by Daniel Torrente (absolute genius; creepy designer man!). I would love all his stamps but unfortuneately they are just a bit out of my price range at the minute! Anyway, I sketched her out and coloured her in with purple pen (think it looks a bit blue on camera, ah well...) Mounted her on star paper from the rock star stack and used perple glitter pens for the stars. Added some of my fave ribbon and voila! Star Pupil! I do think I am a terrible drawer though so I look at her and see tons of mistakes and cover ups but until I can buy the stamps, drawing will have to do!

Design dollies colour challenge

This card is very similar to the previous post because I am entering two challenges with the same colour recipes!! Each had to be a new project for the challenge so I have done two seperate card with variations. This card I am entering in the design dolies challenge:

Pumpkin patch kitty

Ok, my secret passion except for all things creepy is cats! Cute cats, silhouette cats, cat charms etc...anything remotely feline! So I assume that this will be the first cat card of many! I stamped this image onto handmade paper, coloured (some colour leaked out actually...boo..) stamped the sentiment and layered some papers onto a tall card.

TOXIC

I had papers left over from my dragon card and for some reason I though a card for a teenager would be cool, so made this lil one up.

Macabre Monday - Gothic Asian Persuasion

I made this card today for the Macabre Monday Challenge. I used Papermania papers and the dragon was printed on a sheet of pale blue paper. I couloured in all the outlines and filled in all the scales with grey. I drew the Chinese symbol for love with a silver sparkly pen and added the sentiment at the bottom. Then I added the border stickers!

Birdie Lurve!

Another little Birdie card for my collection - love the addition of cages...makes me a bit less nervy..

One flew over the cuckoo's nest..

I have taken a serious liking to all things birdie at the minute, only in the paper sense though..never had any appreciation for the real kind, that may may have something to do with Hitchcock...

HDH026

This is a vampire themed card I made for the Macabre Monday Challenge, probably should mention that the image was my valentines card this year! LOL! Luckily I have a very understanding OH who was more than happy for me to cut up my lovely card, add fangs and morbid message...He just understands my love of all things creepy...There is a funny shine on the image and I don't think I've got the hang of new camera but I just REALLY wanted to enter this challenge!

Cute Companions

This is my interpretation of a sketch from "Moving along with the times" I used forever freinds papers, glitter cardstock and some glitzy glue before stamping a sentiment to the bottom.

First post...TSMONDAY17

This is my very first post, very first blog for that matter... I just needed a place to put some of my whacky, lop-sided, crafty creations and found this to be the best way! Anyone looking, please be gentle...

My first creation...Rock Star Card!

Using my favourite colours and a bit of sparkle for good measure!
